Opt-out Defined
When you opt-out, you notify a financial institution, insurance company, CRA, or any other company that sells your personal information, that you don’t want your information shared. This is your right, and it protects you from unwanted junk mail and phone calls, not to mention identity theft.

Regents vote to change public records policy

The Board of Regents voted Aug. 12 to change University policy to comply with the Inspection of Public Records Act, ending months of deliberation on the issue. The IPRA is a state law that says all documents created by a public body such as UNM are eligible for inspection.
